Potty training didn&#39;t really take even when we did the timed stuff because sometimes there&#39;d just be a lot of random wet pull ups even with timed goings, because stopping playtime to go when the feeling came was a pain and peeing a pull up was easier.  My nephew is 9. 5 months, and I haven’t even thought about potty training for him (we don’t even own a potty!!).  But pooping--that&#39;s a whole other story entirely.  On day 1 I told him no more diapers, and put underwear on.  So my husband and I have been struggling with potty training for our daughter who is 3 but will be 4 in about 2 months.  She had 3 accidents the first month.  She is ADAMANT about this.  My second turned 2 and was officially trained after two months.  Yes, we started training at 19 months, and our daughter was fully trained by 21 months.  Could also just be the method you’re using.  None since.  Often, kids that are still not trained after 6 months were not ready to use the potty when things got started, and now they are too frusterated.
